Baseball Breakers

mpeg video: 320x240 2.8Mb
What can I say about this one. I needed some content.I used to make these little flipbooks in highschool, and somehow, they have all survived a housefire and years of neglect still looking half decent. Now, having found them years later, I have decided to try and move them into the digital realm for your viewing pleasure. (how lucky for you! don't you feel special now?)
This was really more of a test run than anything else. Baseball breakers is in no way a representation of artistic or humorous skill of any kind (which will be quite apparent should you chose to watch it). It was simply a short, amusing "film" which I used to help figure out the tedeous and boring process of digitizing these stacks of 3x5 notecards

A basic "plot" breakdown, in case the animation is unclear: Two guys are playing baseball. Guy one pitches to Guy two, who acidentally hits the ball straight into guy one's skull. Guy two rushes to help Guy one, who in a fit of anger begins beating the bloody shit out of Guy two with the bat. After beating Guy two into the ground so that only his head is left, He rushes of screen to grab his secret weapon... A HUGE FRIGGING MALLET. With this mallet he exacts his final revenge on Guy two's protruding cranium, demolishing it like a watermelon "A La Gallagher" (what can I say, To a high-school geek in the Mortal Kombat era, this was some funny shit)
